Full Description

Evidence for medieval ridge and furrow has been identified to the east of Lover's Walk, Matlock Bath during high- resolution Lidar survey carried out in the winter of 2015/2016 by Bluesky. The survey was commissioned by Trent and Peak Archaeology on behalf of DerwentWISE Project. (1) Preservation of the ridge and furrow is poor, the features are faint and the alignment is at odds with the modern layout of the area. (2)
