Full Description

Evidence of medieval ridge and furrow has been identified south-west of Sitch Farm in Starkholmes during high resolution Lidar survey undertaken in the winter of 2015/2016 by Bluesky. The survey was commissioned by Trent and Peak Archaeology on behalf of DerwentWISE Project. (1) The preservation of the ridge and furrow is poor and therefore the character of the archaeolgical features may not be interpreted. (2)
