Full Description
Evidence for possible Post-medieval quarrying remains in Birch Wood has been identified during a high-resolution Lidar survey undertaken in the winter of 2015/2016 by Bluesky. The survey was commissioned by Trent and Peak Archaeology on behalf of DerwentWISE Project. (1)
The remains have an uncertain form and therefore characterisation is not possible. The feature was identified through the tree canopy of Birch Wood through the application of Lidar. (2)
