Full Description

Evidence for medieval ridge and furrow, south of Wakebridge has been identified during a high-resolution Lidar survey undertaken in the winter of 2015/2016 by Bluesky. The survey was commissioned by Trent and Peak Archaeology on behalf of DerwentWISE Project. (1) The preservation and visibility of the ridge and furrow is poor, the features are faint. The ridges are at a different alignment to the existing field. (2)
