Full Description
Evidence for peat pits and small enclosures in Shining Cliff Wood has been identified during a high-resolution Lidar survey undertaken in the winter of 2015/2016 by Bluesky. The survey was commissioned by Trent and Peak Archaeology on behalf of DerwentWISE Project. (1)
The pits and small enclosures were identified through the tree canopy of Shining Cliff Wood through the application of Lidar. (2)
