Protected Status/Designation

  • None recorded

Full Description

A possible building platform at the site of a building documented as existing in the 19th century. The platform is defined to the south by a lynchet up to 0.4m high. A building is shown on the Tithe Plan of Chapel-en-le Frith from 1846. The 1840 Ordnance Survey map of the area does not consistently show outbuildings so it is unknown whether the building was constructed at this date. The building was removed sometime between 1846 and 1880. (1)
