Full Description
A bank marking the site of a removed field boundary, of post-medieval date. The bank is up to 0.2m high and approximately 2m wide. The boundary that it marks is shown on the 1880 Ordnance Survey map of the area, the earliest available map to show all field boundaries. It is likely that the boundary defined the western edge of a shelter-belt plantation. (1)
