Full Description

Part of a small gully, running roughly northwest to southeast, was recorded during a 2016 watching brief just west of Farditch Farm, east of Old Coalpit Lane, Chelmorton. The fill of the gully contained a small amount of late 19th century pottery, and was believed to have dated to roughly the same time as a nearby dew pond that first appeared on the OS map of 1889.
