Full Description

During an evaluation carried out in 2017 in advance of the building of an extension to Castlefield, a fragment of cobbled surface was identified in Trench 2, and was thought to represent a former yard surface. Finds dating to predominantly the 19th and 20th centuries were recovered, in addition to one 18th century clay pipe fragment. (1)
