Full Description

A limestone capped, linear drain was recorded on an east - west alignment through one evaluation trench at Edge Moor, Eyam. This feature truncated a sandstone wall that was considered to have been the possible remains of an outbuilding or garden feature. The layer beneath the wall produced pottery ranging from the 18th to 20th century, but the deposits contemporary with these two features also produced a similar assemblage. (1)
