Castle Close Cottage, off Market Place, Castleton, an 18th century stone building with earlier cruck frames inside. Rubblestone with gritstone dressings. Stone and Welsh slate roof. Stone, gable end stack. Two storeys. North elevation - central doorway with stone surround. Panelled door. Flanked on each side by 2-light square section flush mullion windows. Two similar windows above.
