No. 7 Ford Lane, Ford Farmhouse, Ford Lane, Eckington, a mid 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF ECKINGTON FORD LANE SK 48 SW 2/83 1.8.75 Ford Farmhouse (No 7) GV II Farmhouse. c1750 with C20 alterations. Coursed squared coal measures sandstone with ashlar dressings, quoins, coped gables with moulded kneelers, gable brick stacks with moulded caps. Welsh slated roof. T-plan house. Three storeys, three bays, formerly with stacked 2-light flush mullioned windows, now with mullions replaced by C20 casements with single glazing bars. Ground floor windows are C20 semi-circular bays. Central doorway with massive quoined surround and C20 door. Single bay lower two storey range projects from rear. Listing NGR: SK4006680350.' (1)
