Full Description

The stable at Birley Hay was included in a building survey carried out in 2011: …The overall impression of this building is of a mid to late 18th century utility barn with a stable at the south end, a bird cote at its north end, and two open bays for carts. It was later remodelled into closed bays for pigs or stables before finally being completely used as stabling in the recent past.' (1)
