Former stationmaster's house at Wingfield Station, Holm Lane, South Wingfield, built c1840. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 35 NE PARISH OF SOUTH WINGFIELD HOLM LANE 2/101 25-5-71 Stationmaster's House at Wingfield Station GV II House. c1840 by Francis Thompson of Derby for the North Midland Railway Company. Regularly coursed ashlar gritstone with three tall ashlar chimneys with moulded caps, and hipped slated roofs. Two storeys, three bays, with projecting wing to right side. Three casements with stone cills and triangular stone porch, with slated roof and simple doorcase with rectangular light to the right. Right side elevation with doorcase, flat weather hood and wooden brackets. Listed for group value. Listing NGR: SK3850655719.' (1)
