No. 34 Twyford Road (formerly Littlecroft), Barrow upon Trent, a pair of 17th to 18th century cottages. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF BARROW-UPON-TRENT TWYFORD ROAD SK 32 NE 4/9 (North Side) No 34 'Littlecroft' 23.8,79 II Pair of cottages, now one. C17 or C18 raised in C19 and altered C20. Red brick with plain tile roof with brick gable stacks. Dentil eaves cornice. Two storeys. Two bay south elevation. The ground floor has two 2-light casements and two doorways with C20 glazed doors. All openings have segment heads. The left hand doorway has been moved to the right and has a gabled bracketed hood. The first floor has two 2-light casements under flat arches. Garage to right. The interior has a cruck truss and the truncated remains of a second cruck truss, chamfered and stopped joists and ceiling beams. Inglenook fireplaces. Listing NGR: SK3521128599.' (1)
