From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 19 69 PARISH OF ASHFORD IN THE WATER MILL LANE 11/55 (West Side) Old Mill House (formerly 12.7.1967 listed as 'Mill and house') II Millers house. C18. Coursed limestone rubble. Gritstone dressings and chamfered quoins. Stone slate roof. Stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Stone gable end stacks with plain banding. Moulded eaves cornice. Two storeys, three bays and single storey addition to east. Central doorcase with bracketed stone hood and flush surround. Flush panelled door with two top panels glazed. To either side, flush 2-light mullion windows. Above, two similar windows and single light flush window over door. All fenestration original casements. To east, addition has wide C20 window in similar style. Listing NGR: SK1988069555.' (1)
