Full Description

Mesolithic to Bronze Age finds at Ryder Point Quarry, High Peak Trail, Hopton. A fieldwalking survey carried out over three fields in 2017 produced finds dating from the Mesolithic, Early Neolithic and Bronze Age periods. The recovered tools included a core, core tablet, end scraper and leaf shaped arrowhead and were thought to date to both the Mesolithic and Early Neolithic periods. The rest of the finds were considered to date to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age periods. (1)
