Full Description

Within Peak Forest is a partially walled belland yard. (1) Eldon Vein and Portaway Mine are located within a large area of high priority lead mining. At Portaway Mine nearly everything within the belland yard has been removed. There is a small belland yard and capped shafts on the small Eldon Vein and to the north west there is the dam of a large water storage pond. (2)
