19th century finds, recovered off Rykneld Road, Derby. During a watching brief carried out in 2018 on a plot off Rykneld Road, ridge and furrow was recorded, and the furrows contained fills with 19th century finds, suggesting that ground levelling activities had occurred at that time to reduce the dimensions of the earthworks in this particular area.
