Full Description

Former sheep wash, east of Water Lane Pleasley, an early 20th century structure. There is no building or obvious notation shown at this location on the 1st edition 25" OS map of 1889, but the area is first labelled as 'Sheepwash' on the 2nd edition 25" OS map of 1916. Photographs were taken by a local resident before 2019, at a time when a local historical group were clearing the structure of overgrowth with the intention to eventually restore it. (1-2)
