Full Description

Two ditches, St Andrew's Churchyard, Cubley, of medieval date. 'The earliest detectable phase of activity on this site relates to the creation of two substantial ditches running north - south across Trench 2, which are interpreted as being of medieval or early post medieval date having been truncated by post medieval ploughing through the presence of medieval pot[tery] dating to the 12th to 14th century in the lower fill (206) of ditch [205]…' (1)
