Full Description

Well, walls and hard standing, Cathedral Road, Derby, of 19th century date. During a watching brief carried out over groundworks in 2018, a number of structures were recorded, '...three sets of modern (19th century or later) brick structures: a brick well and brick wall found in Trench 1, a blue engineering brick wall found in Trench 2 and a brick-paved surface with four associated brick walls found in Trench 3. Post medieval deposits were seen to extend for more than 1.4m below the current ground surface.' (1)
