Full Description

Two post holes, west of Padley Chapel, Grindleford, of post medieval date. During an evaluation carried out in 2003 '…two sub-rectangular features… interpreted as being post holes for large, stone gateposts common in the area around the site, which had probably been removed in the 20th century. All the finds recovered were identified as being of late post medieval date.' (1)
