Full Description

Two Parallel Ditches, No. 21 Lime Avenue, Duffield, of Roman date. During a strip, map and record evaluation carried out in 2018, two parallel ditches containing fills with 2nd to 3rd century pottery were recorded. Other smaller features were identified but difficult to define. This work followed an earlier evaluation comprised of trial trenching. (1)
