Full Description

In 2019 a field evaluation led the the identification of two substanial ditches which led the archaeologists to believe they had identified a 'bivallate hilltop enclosure' . They thought other features might be traces of a field system. No artifactual evidence was found by which to date the 'enclosure', but radiocarbon dating of charcoal from the fill of the ditches suggested that the enclosure was abandoned in the late neolithic/early bronze age.
