Full Description

A Neolithic/Bronze Age worked flint core or scraper 1¼ins long was found in December 1955 at approx. SK 1724 8337 by Mrs M Preston in spoil from a trench for an oil pipe line. (1, 2). Mrs. Preston confirmed the approximate site of find as above. She retains the core. (3).
