Full Description

The Elms, Wood Lane, Elmton with Creswell, a late 18th century building. The building is shown on Rodes 1793 map of Creswell and Elmton, along with the L-shape arrangement of outbuildings to the northeast. (1) It is shown on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c1880 where it is unlabelled, and it continues to not have a name until modern mapping where it is labelled 'The Elms.'
