Full Description

Unstratified medieval pottery, off Main Street, Kings Newton, Melbourne. An assemblage of 15 sherds of various medieval dates was recovered from unstratified contexts during an evaluation carried out in 2014. The earliest sherd was of a reduced sandy ware and thought to date to between the 11th and 13th centuries, the remainder of the assemblage was described as late medieval. (1)
