Full Description

SK 0893 7522: Waterswallows, Hardybarn: Two 18th century barns, stone walled with stone slate roofs. A later house abutts the barns, with plastered stacks. Two window front, plain square-framed doorway. (1) Hardybarn is a partially extant 19th century farmstead of a linear plan, with three sides of the yard formed of agricultural buildings and additional detached elements to the main plan. The farmhouse is attached to the agricultural range. The site is in an isolated location. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. (2, 3, 4, 5)
