Dunston Grange, off Dunston Lane, Chesterfield, a 17th century building with 19th century alterations. From the National Heritage List for England: 'DUNSTON LANE 1. 5169 (West Side) Dunston Dunston Grange Farmhouse SK 37 SE 13/220 II GV 2. C17 and C19 farmhouse. Mid C19 front section. Ashlar with slates and end chimneys. 2 storeys. 3 windows, sashes with glazing bars. Centre double door of 6 panels, rectangular fanlight with tracery. Rear Cl7. Coursed stone with quoins, coped gable end and kneelers. Slates with off centre and end chimneys. 2 storeys with cellar. Generally 3 windows, late C18/early C19 3 light casements with glazing bars and stone lintels. 2 doors, 1 with plain rectangular fanlight. Listing NGR: SK3654974213.' (1)
