No. 43 Low Pavement, Market Place, Chesterfield, and early 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 16 May 2022 to update text and reformat to current standards SK 3871 SW 1/ll LOW PAVEMENT No 43 (Formerly listed as Kendrick Fieldsend Limited) 4.9.72. GV II Early C18 facade. Painted ashlar with moulded cornice and blocking course. Three storeys western part has three windows flanked by rusticated pilasters, additional, eastern window slate roof with end chimneys overall: Windows have keystones and plain painted stone architraves carried below sills. Sashes, second floor with glazing bars, first floor with late C19 glazing. C19 shop front with pedimented end consoles, dentil cornice and rusticated pilasters. Modern glazing to shop windows which are carried over part of former arched entrance to rear passage. Rear wing. Listing NGR: SK3820571047.' (1)
