Full Description

SK 174 809: Bradwell, Stone Axe: Neolithic polished stone axe found in February 1938 in a field between 200 and 500 feet south-south-west of Bradwell church when a short by-pass road was made. In Buxton Museum (acc. No. DERBS 494). Dimensions: Length: 8.5 inches; breadth (butt) 1.5 inches; breadth (cutting edge) 2 inches; depth 1.75 inches. (1,3).
