Tapton Manor, off Wheathill Lane, Chesterfield, a 17th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'DARK LANE 1. 5169 (North Side) Tapton Tapton Manor SK 47 SW 16/60 II GV 2. C17. Stone rubble with stone slate roof. L-shaped. 2½ storeys with attic in gable ends. 2 windows to garden facade, stone mullioned windows (some old). Modern glazed porch in front of centre door. Extensively restored. Listing NGR: SK4017272234.' (1)
