Pendleton Cottage Farm and Barn, Pendleton Lane, Alderwasley, a late 18th century complex. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF ALDERWASLEY PENDLETON LANE SK 35 SW 2/11 Pendleton Cottage Farmhouse and Post Office 15.3.82 II House and Shop, formerly a pair of cottages. Late C18, with subsequent alteration. Coursed rubble gritstone with brick ridge stacks and a stone slated roof. Asymmetrical elevation of three bays, with three 2-light casements to the first floor, and two flush mullioned windows, of 2 and 4-lights, to the ground floor. Doorways at each end, with C20 glazed doors. Listing NGR: SK3150553206.' (1)
