Garden wall, gate piers and corner pier to No. 28 Abercrombie Street, Chesterfield, built c1840. From the National Heritage List for England: 'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 12 May 2022 to update text and reformat to current standards SK 3871 NW 5/162 ABERCROMBIE STREET (North Side) Garden wall at No 28 Gatepiers and corner pier. GV II Circa 1840. High coursed stone coped wall embanking garden to Sheffield Road and Abercrombie Road. Massive rounded stone corner post with plinth and pyramidal cap. Gatepiers. Included for group value in relation to the group of buildings at entrance to Abercrombie Street. Listing NGR: SK3830671718' (1)
