Stud Farm Cottage and Stable Cottage, Bacon's Lane, Chesterfield, a pair of 17th century houses. From the National Heritage List for England: 'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 4 April 2022 to update text and reformat to current standards SK 36 NE 14/29 Boythorpe BACON'S LANE (South West Side) Nos 1 and 2 (Stud Farm Cottages) 26.7.76. GV II C17. L-shaped building. Coursed stone with quoins. Stone slate roof but Welsh slates at front. Two storeys. Stone mullioned windows. West side facade has two and two former carriage entrances on doors with timber lintels northern one now has stone infilling with window. Round arched door between these two former entrances.
