Barn adjoining No. 16 Church Street, Alfreton, an early 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 40 55 NE ALFRETON CHURCH STREET (north side) 8/13 Barn adjoining No 16 GV II Barn. Early C18 with later alterations. Red brick on rubble stone plinth with stone dressings and steeply pitched plain tile roof. Two storeys and 4 bays. Central quoined opening with timber lintel and double board doors flanked by single light window to south and quoined, chamfered doorcase to north. Beyond to north there is another quoined opening similar to that to centre and beyond to south there is a similar quoined, chamfered doorcase and 2 inserted windows. Above, are 2-light flush mullion window to north and 2 flush square hayloft openings to south. Later C19 addition to far north of no special interest. Listing NGR: SK4086855804.' (1)
