Spendlove Farm, off Barnsley Lane, Ashleyhay, an 18th and 19th century complex. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 25 SE 1/17 PARISH OF ASHLEYHAY BARNSLEY LANE Spendlove Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Early C19 with C18 rear range. Coursed squared gritstone with ashlar dressings, quoins, coped gables, end ridge and sidewall ashlar stacks, ball finials to C18 range and plain tiled roof. Front range, west elevation, three storeys, three bays, formerly with glazing bar sashes in advanced stone frames, now with C20 casements to ground and first floors. The centre of the second floor is blank. Plain central doorway with C20 glazed door. Parallel C18 range to east, north elevation, with stacked 2-light flush mullioned windows with glazing bar casements. Steeply pitched lean-to roof to west side with C20 half-glazed door.
