Full Description

SK 1756 8388: Farfield Farm, Horse Trappings (Roman): "Roman bronze object" (piece of Roman horse trapping), found during excavation of Roman road on Farfield Farm, Hope in or before 1972. (1) Two identical objects found at Fremington Hagg, Yorks (SE 09 NW 2, hoard of Roman cavalry harness) are now in the Hospitium Museum, York. Finds are in the posession of P. Wroe. (2)
