Full Description

Ridge and furrow, rear of No. 61 Court Street, Woodville, of uncertain date. According to a report of a survey carried out in 2019, '...The earthwork survey recorded the remnants of a north-south aligned ridge and furrow field system. A slight curvature to the ridge and furrow at the northern limits might relate to a headland boundary. The ridge and furrow, likely with origins in the medieval period, was truncated by a modern sand pit and trackway.' (1)
