From the National heritage List for England: 'SK 34 NE PARISH OF DENBY CHURCH STREET 1/4 (South Side) Tombstone 4 metres to south of south porch of St Mary's Church GV II Tombstone. c1733. Stone. Low, wide double tombstone with raised moulded edge and central division. South panel inscribed 'Here lyeth ye body of Paul Brenthard who departed this life ye 30th .... 1733. Aged 72'. North panel inscribed 'Here lyeth ye body of .... his wife .... 1727. Aged ....'. Listing NGR: SK3985746477.' (1)
