War Memorial to East of St Mary's Church, Church Street, Denby, erected c1920. From the National heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF DENBY CHURCH STREET SK 34 NE 1/6 (South Side) War Memorial to east of St Mary's Church GV II War memorial. c1920. Stone. Tall celtic cross on stepped base with celtic style carved decoration to east side and an inscription to base reading 'In memory of the men of Denby who fell in the Great War, Aug 4 1914 - June 28 1919', with a list of names below. An additional plaque has been placed against the base listing the 2nd World War victims.
