No. 43 Hazelwood Road, Cemetery Lodge, Duffield, build c1880.
From the National Heritage List for England:
'SK 34 SW PARISH OF DUFFIELD HAZELWOOD ROAD 3/8 (West Side) Cemetery Lodge GV II Caretakers lodge at Duffield Cemetery. 1880. Rock-faced gritstone with gritstone dressings. Plain tile roof, half hipped to south. One stone ridge stack raised in brick, and a rendered stack in the pitch of the roof. Two storeys, irregular plans and elevations. Squat tower in the south east angle, incorporating the staircase. East elevation of three bays. Staircase tower has three stepped lancets and two slit windows above. Four slit windows on the return elevation. To the right a shallow bay window with hipped roof and 3-light chamfered mullion and transom window. Similar 3-light window above with inset gothic lights. To the right again a small 2-light chamfered mullion window. To the left a lean-to porch supported on a stone pier with foliage capital. Later wooden infill enclosing the porch. The south elevation has a shallow canted bay window and window above, similar to those on the east elevation.
