The Cottage, Ireton Wood, Idridgehay and Alton, an early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 24 NE 3/42 PARISH OF IDRIDGEHAY AND ALTON IRETON WOOD The Cottage GV II Cottage. Early C19. Coursed squared gritstone front, rubble elsewhere, with plain gables, end ridge brick stacks and a plain tiled roof. Two storeys, three bays, with cast iron window frames having glazing bars and central opening lights beneath deep lintels, narrow centre first floor window with modern casement. Central doorway with plain door beneath deep lintel. Listing NGR: SK2789547936.' (1)
