Full Description
Boundary ditch, north of Scropton Road, Foston and Scropton, possibly of post medieval date.
A boundary ditch, also shown on historic mapping, was recorded during trial trenching carried out in 2023, in Trench 5 of that particular evaluation. The ditch was c1.3m wide. It was unexcavated at the time due to flooding. Another feature, a probable post medieval drainage ditch was also recorded in Trench 3. (1)
