Full Description
Ridge and furrow, near Berristow Farm, off Cartwright Lane, South Normanton, of probable medieval date.
During an evaluation carried out in 2021, furrows that had previously been identified by a geophysical survey were recorded. Generally, they were aligned north - south, and appeared consistent with earthworks of medieval date. (1)
The geophysical survey was carried out in 2018. (2) A desk-based assessment had also been carried out at that time. (3)
