Puss in Boots public house, Wirksworth Road, Windley, an early 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 19 April 2023 to correct a typo in the description and to reformat the text to current standards SK 34 SW 3/117 PARISH OF WINDLEY WIRKSWORTH ROAD (North Side) Puss in Boots Public House GV II Public house. Early C18. Painted brick. Plain tile roof with stone coped gables. Brick gable stacks. Dentil eaves cornice and intermittent dentil first floor band. Three storeys, low two storey to rear. L-plan. Three bay south east elevation. Off-centre rendered porch with flat roof. To the left, a glazing bar sash of twelve panes over twelve, under a stone lintel. Two similar windows to right and three similar windows above. Three similar, but smaller, windows above again. Listing NGR: SK3192944571.' (1)
