The Old Barn, Wirksworth Road, Windley, built in 1686. From the National Heritage List for England: 'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 19 April 2023 to correct a typo in the name and address and to reformat the text to current standards SK 34 SW 3/119 PARISH OF WINDLEY WIRKSWORTH ROAD (South Side) Outbuilding opposite Puss in Boots GV II Outbuilding, probably stables. Dated 1686 but probably restored in C19. Coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings. Plain tile roof with stone coped gables. Two storeys. South east elevation of three bays. The ground floor has three doorways with stone lintels and quoins. Stable type doors. Between the two doors on the left is a single light window with flush square section surround. Two square openings above with flush stone surrounds. Re-set datestone inscribed 1686 EB, set between the two upper openings. Listing NGR: SK3191344559.' (1)
