Yew Tree Cottage Farm, off Upper Hartshay, Ripley, a late 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 35 SE RIPLEY RIPLEY ROAD, UPPER HARTSAY (east side) 3/111 Yew Tree Farmhouse 20.12.83 II Farmhouse. Late C18 with later additions and alterations. Coursed squared stone with painted stone dressings. Slate roof and brick gable stacks. Two storeys and 3 bays, with lower single bay additions to either side. Off-centre door in plain surround with bracketed stone hood over. To either side C20 casements in plain surrounds. Above central single light window with flush surround flanked by 2-light flush mullion windows, all with single pane casements. Eastern addition with glazed leanto and western one with plank door and tall window. Listing NGR: SK3823350285.' (1)
