Boundary wall and gate piers, Manor Road, South Wingfield, possibly a 19th century structure. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 3755 PARISH OF SOUTH WINGFIELD MANOR ROAD 5/113 (West Side) Boundary wall and two pairs of gate piers at Wingfield House GV II Boundary wall, approximately 70 metres long to eastern boundary, of squared coursed sandstone, 1.5 to 2 metres high, stepped back at lower end with a half round coping. Two pairs of gate piers, one pair to a domestic entrance, with square section ashlar piers with projecting bands linking piers to boundary wall. Projecting moulded cap with banded ball finials on pedestals. Planked and studded door. The second pair of gate piers are partially demolished and flank the drive to the stables, at the north end of the boundary wall. Listing NGR: SK3759255458.' (1)
